It takes a village...

Trinity is fortunate to have many people in her life that love her very much. That is one thing I will always try and provide for Trinity: a loving community of people that she can rely upon. Kayley is one of the sweetest of those people. Kayley is a good friend that spends time with Trinity, teaching her all kinds of fun things. They have played dress up and baked cookies, just to name a couple. Here is an old picture of Kayley and Trinity with Santa (2009). Kayley picked out matching dresses for her and Trinity. Kayley wrote a story for school, it was about Trinity. I have included an image of the original and the text typed out. I don't think I need to say much more, except, Thank you Kayley! Kayley Pointer 11-23-10   Trinity Esther Trinity is such a miracle. The reason I am so thankful for her is because when she was maybe a year old or younger she was at the daycare center and she had a seasiour. She also stopped breathing. She was rushed to the emergency room and the

Creative title, huh? Well, that's what you get at this hour. My weak excuse is that I am on the tail end of a little cold that has made me a  little more tired than normal. Meh. Excuses are like...well, you know. Kids are cute, except for the two-year-old-ness of Trinity. That's not so cute. But she remains the cutest little girl I know. I think that the best part of Trinity being two is that I have to parent her, along with Autumn, and it is a great reminder to stay consistent, because she's two and has way more energy than me. Now on with the pictures! Well your highness, where to this afternoon? Up for a little tour around the house? Good show sir, let me take you another lap around the estate... All jokes aside, I can't wait to see these two as they get older. They both have such good natures, it will be a hoot to watch them together! One of my recent favorites. Just wish I had the presence of mind to yank the pacifier for a sec. Are you kidding me?!??

More or (and) less

So, with our cruddy internet speeds in the evening (hint, hint all of you Netflix users), it's hard to get a consistently good connection that allows me to get pictures and videos on here with any speed at all. I have a few, but it took FOREVER! So this post is more or less what I had intended. Ah well, at least you get your fix... Always has something in her mouth. This girls sure loves her food! I wish I could tell you that this was an accident. It is his vitamins, which are the color of pureed peas. I don't know how kids take that stuff! Accident waiting to happen... ...called that one correctly! Do I need a caption? Nope. The best part about this is that both kids are smiling, at the same time. Now, if they would only look at the camera! Juice! Two things:  Trinity rarely gets juice, so this is a real treat! Also, Caprisun drinks don't work very well when you tip them...she'll learn! Cuteness abounds with this boy. You can NOT stop this... Tr

So, the new "caption" style was a flop, so we're back to basics here. Happy St. Patty's Day to all of you, hope you wore green, or at least got pinched by someone you wanted  to be pinched by... There's a whole series of these really cute green shirt pictures and I thought they would make great fun, but instead I thought that I would try something novel: putting on only a couple pics and then getting to bed at a decent hour...ha! Okay, stinkin' cuteness.... Okay, so I go to the store tonight for ice cream and toilet paper. The important stuff, right? Oh come on, you use it too! Don't give me that, "I can't believe he just referenced poo on his blog..." Everyone does it. I just talk about it. But back to the story we go. I take a little longer at the store than I thought, since I had to chat with some friends I ran into (small town, to run into someone you know at the grocery at 8pm!) and then was stuck behind the late night shoppers w

That's two nights in a row  that I have updated this blog thing. Actually, I am just catching up. I just discovered a new feature on the blog editor, so the captions might look a little different. Of course, I might decide that the old way is better and just scrap the new fangled option for the trusty, stalwart, reliable old  version. Please let me know what you think of the new format. In the meantime, we have pictures of siblings, birthday boys (sort of), good friends and ice cream (which happens to be a VERY good friend of mine). On with the show! I think that Teagan is going back for seconds. That's m'boy! First couple of pictures = sibling love. Consequently, I hear this transforms into sibling rivalry for a few year. Then it gets better. First good friend: ice cream cone from McDonalds. For all you haters out there, don't knock it 'til you tryit! So I thought this picture was pretty funny, but somehow a little weird at the same time. It almost

See how low I stoop to entertain you? Look at that title, just look at it...shameful. What else is shameful? The fact that it's been over a week since I updated this blog...yech! I could tell you about slow internet, blah blah blah, but it doesn't really matter, does it? All that matters is that you've been waiting and I've not been delivering. But onto bigger and better things...like snow! Last weekend. Wait, make that the weekend before last , we went to McCall with Autumn's family. Lee and Lorna, along with Wade, Amy, Mark and Grayson, we rented a house and went skiing. The house was beautiful, the only problem was that there were 4 foot icicles hanging from the eave...yikes! But those were taken care of and we set up camp... Trinity went out and played in the snow. She LOVES being outside, as you can tell! It was a big house, which is a good thing because there were eight adults. We played some video games where you actually use your own movements to cont

The title really says it all. Okay, it doesn't. But the title sets the tone for a relatively theme-free post. This usually ends up with me throwing out captions like those two old guys on the Muppets. I love that show. Now on with this show! Well, there's all sorts of wrong with this picture. It reminds me of those pictures where you circle all the things that are physically off about the picture, like the door only has one hinge, or the door knob and hinges are on the same side. Yeah, that's this picture. Send me your best caption and I'll send you a prize! This is the antithesis of the previous picture. No caption needed. My girls, at Trinity's first swimming lesson. Little kids look so stinkin' cute in swim suits! So that's about it, not much on this post. I have another one coming, since we just got back from skiing in McCall, Idaho with Autumn's family. Good times, lots of snow! In the mean time, enjoy the following video of Teagan (not)

...and more fun than a barrel of monkeys! My dad came down last weekend for a visit with us the grandkids. In the meantime, guess what? We took more pictures! We shot more video! Wahoo! I couldn't get a good shot of Teagan and mom, but he was looking very  stylish in his hat! How is it that our daughter is old enough to have her own drink in a regular paper cup? Okay, so it was a couple of tablespoons in a dixie up, but she's growing up so fast! This was fun, she kept asking for more and more. She was having so much fun! Not sure here, but cute! We taught Teagan to pull hair. It sort of backfired because Trinity likes it when Teagan grabs her. She's turning into already the world's sweetest little girl. It's so much fun watching her grow up. Did you notice the crossed-out typing? I just discovered it. That means I'll over use it for a while. I try and post pictures with significance. For this one? First diaper I have seen Sue change.
