Extra! Extra! Read All About It!

Extra breast milk, that is. What do you do with it? How about cheese ? Maybe sell it to your local chef ? Breast milk...it's what's for dinner! Ha! Actually it would be more beneficial to donate here , here or maybe here . There are lots of things to do with breast milk, but the best is probably to just feed it to your baby. Why all the talk about breast millk? Let me explain. No, let me show you: In case you're wondering, this is one of two freezers in our garage that are at least 70% frozen breast milk. We now plan our weekly menu around frozen food because we need to use it up to make room for more breast milk. Boy I've said breast a lot in this post. Sorry kids! This freezer is just the one on top of our second fridge. The other is a deep freeze. Yep, that's full too! Okay, I wasn't going to show it because it' just too messy, but... Impressive huh? At least Teagan won't be starving... ...Of course we never really had to worry about that!

Where does the time go?

Often I look at the last time that I posted and I wonder where all the time went between then and now. Somehow I can let time just slip away without letting all of you know about our latest antics. It seems like there has been less to write about lately, but I think that may have to do with the weather. It's a little tougher to get outside with kids when it's constantly below freezing. It seems like things are starting to thaw a little, so maybe we can get out there! Meanwhile, here are a few things that we have been doing inside . Looking sharp there young man! Actually, Teagan does this whether he is outside or inside. Oh come on, you knew  this one was coming. And yes, it's for the ladies. I am not sure who this one is for. I may save this one for revenge. Don't judge me until you see the end of this post. Trinity loves shoes! She really likes to wear Autumn's shoes. She wishes that she could wear mine, but it's not even reasonable to walk in shoes tha

The many faces of Teagan...

No, I don't have a whole lot of mercy on my family while I am blogging. If you take a bad picture, and everyone does sooner or later, then you're fair game. Heck, I'm even fair game. I take some pretty bad pictures! In that vein I have compiled a few pictures that show a few different looks for Teagan. He really doesn't get hisown posts very often, so I'm showing him a little blog-love. Enjoy! Huh? Uhh... Whoa... Going over... Maybe...or not. He never really went further than this. It was pretty exciting though, because we have noticed that Teagan has not really been too interested in rolling over. He's just a happy baby, happy to be wherever you put him. Although he does like to sit up...and jump: See: our happy boy! He sure is a joy to be around. So smiley. He's learning to giggle too: Here's the signature smile though, the one I think of when I think of Teagan. And finally, I leave you with a moment of serenity:

On the second day...he ate!

Maybe it was the third day. Fourth day? Who knows! Either way, I seem to be blog-challenged these days. Either I can't find the time, can't find the energy, or the *bleeping* server keeps rotating the picture (see below). Sorry kids, I wasn't really saying a bad word, just making a point. Ask your parents. This is a really cute pic, IF you tilt your head 90 degrees to the left. It's a little hard to see, but Trinity is using Teagan's hand to wave "Buh-bye!" And no, there is no way that is comfortable, even for a baby that has no real skeleton yet. UPDATE: Okay, so my confession here is that it was a little late at night when I wrote this update. I totally forgot to point out that Teagan is almost as big as Trinity! Did I mention that he is over 17lbs? He is! Did you notice that his jeans are unbuttoned? They are! Trinity photo. Press that button girl! Your moment of serenity. Okay, maybe that just works for me. It's a little hard to see, b

In the beginning...

In the beginning, there were a few pictures because the dumb server kept throwing errors that prevented me from uploading more. So we'll just use that as an excuse to write a quick update and go to bed. I have about 10 more pics, but you'll just have to settle for these. It was homemade pizza night. The problem is that only half of the pepperoni made it onto the pizza... My apologies for the blurry picture, I couldn't get a better one. Trinity is pretty creative with food and eating implements. I have heard that this is a two-year-old trait. Whatever it is, it's pretty funny! Before you ask me anything, let me answer most of the questions running through your head. Yes, we had lasagna for dinner. Yes, Trinity likes lasagna. Yes, she could work on neatness a little. Yes, she needs a napkin. Yes, she needed both forks. If one is good, two is better. It's simple economics really. Didn't you learn anything in school? It's a time of discovery for our li

It's SNOW cold out here...

Image
Wow, bad title. Even for me. Sunday we went snowshoeing (sp?) up Marble Creek with the Kelleys. We bundled the little ones in as many layers as we could and set out for a little walk. Great day, but COLD! The Harrells... The Kelleys... And here's the result! We hiked for a little over an hour, but failed to realize what time it was. Poor Trinity has cold hands, was hungry because she missed snack time AND lunchtime, and it was definitely past nap time. Cold, tired and hungry...great parenting! Ha! Just a little live action snowshoeing...you might have to wait for the video to load... So this might look like a bad photo, and it is. But the reason it's here is that Teagan was watching me eat and drink. Every time I would bring something from the table to my mouth, he would follow it. I think this boy's ready to eat! 'Cuz she's cute...

Final Christmas post of 2010. Wait, it's 2011 already!

We finally finished Christmas...I think. What a season it has been! This last installment is our time with Autumn's family here in Baker. We had it at our house this year, with about ten people in attendance. Fun times! I don't know that we ever really took a good photo of Trinity in her Christmas dress, but here's a little sneak peek. Cute? You betcha!   Yes, we stuffed Teagan in his Santa outfit one more time. Kudos to Grayson for putting up with us old folks and our need to photograph everything.   Teagan sure likes Boppa!   Teagan with his cousin Mark Trinity loved her new bathtub soap-bodypaint stuff, even though she has no idea what they are! She loves to line them up on the floor...   ...and on the ottoman too! Waiting for the goods...   There's the good stuff! Now, if it was only a blue and orange ball... Quite the Santa! Only in Eastern Oregon would Santa wear coveralls... Here's Trinity putting her scrambling skills on display   Mo
