It's Been A While

Image
Haven't posted here in a while, so I am not sure that I remember how. I hope it's like riding a bike. This last month or so has been a bit hectic and I have been feeling a bit low on energy in the evenings, not sure what that's about. I am going to try and get more sleep and hope that helps. Tomorrow night sure isn't going to help though, since there is some socially-obligated need to stay up until midnight. The party will go down like this: "Jeez, it's almost midnight. Where's Aaron?" "He's over there at the bar." "What's he doing there?" "Shots...of espresso." Okay, maybe it won't be like that. I am a night owl, if you haven't figured it out. When Autumn and I were dating (if that is what you call it, since we lived 375 miles apart and saw each other about once a month), I would often send emails at 1am, while she would respond at 5am. Yeah, we certainly have our differences ( understatement of the y

Overdue: Patch it up!

Like a lot of things, I have been slack in keeping up with photos. It's either that, or I have already done this post 13 times and am now at the point where I forget almost everything valuable withing 5 minutes of learning it. Well, I guess it could be like that movie "Groundhog Day" . But there's really no way to prove it, and if I did then no one would believe me because it's only happening to me. Whew, I am glad we figured that out! Wait, what were we talking about? Ha! On with the show! With all the running that happened in October, I forgot we went to the pumpkin patch! Okay, I didn't forget. I did, however, forget to tell you about it. Appropriate colors for Boise in the fall... Two out of three ain't bad! A little pumpkin chaos These two, running things? Scary, very scary. Cheese! Someone's first pumpkin patch! Teagan surprises Autumn with a quick toss of the pumpkin. Better than bein

Much to be thankful for. Yeah, we can all say that. Really, we can. If you are reading this then you have much to be thankful for. You have both computer access and time. Not only that, you have time to read a blog that doesn't really add anything necessary to your life. Alright, if a poorly placed sense of humor is necessary, then I guess we fit. But you get my drift. You have a car, house and savings account, you are in the top 10% of the world when it comes to wealth. Okay, I don't really have numbers to back that up, but someone once told me that when I was young and idealistic. Even if it is half true, most of us are rich, rich, rich. Throw in a really good friend and your life is priceless. Be thankful. Today is Thanksgiving. Today is Trinity's birthday. Today I had enough spare time and money to run a local 5k turkey Trot. Rich indeed! Teagan and Trinity were treated to ice cream with Jen, Ava and Emerson on Wednesday. Happy birthday eve, Trinity!

So, here's another random post. I need to get more specific. Or maybe not. The holidays are upon us, so I am guessing that there will be plenty of event-specific posts on the way. Did I mention that I won a trip to Belgium? Well, I just did! Be very jealous! We found a grader to play in. Teagan loves construction stuff right now. Me: It's a grader Teagan! Teagan: Like granddad? Me: Yes Teagan, just like Granddad! The boys Trinity spelling. She likes to read and spell Teagan went bowling with Jackie on Saturday while I was at the Bronco game Boise. His first time bowling! He'll learn not to do that very much. Checking out the lane Watching the ball go! Not bad for being two! Yes,  Teagan is officially better than me at bowling. A while back this picture was taken. I do believe Mrs. Kelley earns way more style points AND is way faster, since she can actually pedal the thing. She might be ready
