Get Off the Sidewalk!

Image
Long overdue. A couple of weeks ago was our nephew's birthday. Sweet sixteen. Yikes! Just kidding. Grayson has been driving for year, beginning when his dad worked on a ranch. Grayson helped drive while the cows were fed. Anyway, we went over and helped ring in Grayson's new year. Ava even went with us. Pig pile on Autumn! Gift pile on Grayson! Double trouble? I think so. Next up? Autumn and friends and the Sawtooth Relay !

Things to come

Yup, been a while since I posted. BUT there are good things coming: Mr. "Stoic Candle-Blower-Outer" Grayson, turns 16...Yikes! Whoa! And finally we have our version of a Griswold camp out. Stay tuned!

Family Camp part 2...one long post!

Now where were we? Oh yeah, more pictures from family camp. Go here to get caught up. Momma and baby boy, chillin' in the grass. Lots of sliding pictures of Trinity and Ava, but you have to give the love to the headfirst slide! Teagan and the ladies... Teagan sure liked playin' with Kate! Okay, a couple of things: Fun games in the sports center. Trinity likes to fly. Why do I look like I have a big ol' belly? Maybe 'cuz I do! One game was a mural made from chalk...Ava is doing her part. Let's see what Trinity is up to.... NOT doing her part. To her credit, she is organizing the pieces of chalk. And getting chalk all over her pants. Mom to teh recue. Moments like this make me appreciate my mom and all the yuck that she cleaned from my clothes. Last was the obstacle course in the skate park. Trinity really liked sliding down the ramps. This one was about 8 feet high, with at least a foot of vertical. Let's just say that Trinity sat on my lap!...

Family Camp part 1

I think it's a sign that you take wayyy too many photos when you have to split your blog posts on a regular basis. It was mentioned that Trinity may be the most photographed child on the planet. It might be true! Teagan would be the runner up, or maybe even the winner, if you consider that Trinity has a 21 month headstart. Last weekend we went to family camp at Young Life's Washington Family Ranch . It's out in the middle of nowhere . It was built on the site of a cult compound from the 1980's . Young Life  has been doing great things for kids there since 1999 after the land was donated by the Washington family. We went there with the kids and the Kelleys over the long weekend. It was a really ncie weekend; we were able to spend time with family and friends without having to worry about meals or clean up. Good stuff! Teagan is marveling at his good luck! He sure likes whatever Trinity has! Close up. Still cute! Sometimes I wish I could come up with a nice capt...

Therapy Notes

Image
Blogging can be therapy. So can having embarrassing photos of you published on the web. Of course, it can also couse one to need therapy. Fortunately I have never put photos on here that were THAT bad. But we have some fun ones today! When we take Trinity to therapy in Boise on Wednesdays, we stay at my dad's the night before. Then, right before we leave, Trinity gets to wake Sue up. I think that it makes Trinity's day! Side note: Sue, in case you were wondering how I got this photo, I took your camera out of your purse Saturday when you weren't looking. Then I put all the photos on our computer. Then I slipped the camera back into your purse. That's my confession. Cute pic! Teagan turned 9 months last weekend. Well, a week and a half ago. Autumn has been taking photos every month on the big brown chair. This time Trinity wanted to help get Teagan to smile. The problem is that Teagan likes to do whatever Trinity does. More importantly, he wants everything she has. ...
